One who defends from a family of powers and mystery. The story follows them as they attempt to overcome the forces pulling them apart, there love to conquer all.
I love this amazing book and would suggest it to anybody who loves fantasy and drama as well romance. 👸👩😊😊😊😊😃😃
I agree Kelly! I also loved this book and also suggest it for everyone else!!!!😃
I am currently reading 1984 by George Orwell. The novel was written in 1949 and is set in a dystopian world where the government watches your every move.
Winston Smith is a low ranking member of the ruling party in London. Everywhere Winston goes he is watched by Big Brother through Telescreens. The Party controls everything in Oceania, even the peoples history and language. Winston is frustrated with his lack of freedom and being unable to express his individuality. One day Winston decides to illegally purchase a diary and record the state of the world to the future.
I have not finished the novel but I highly recommend it as it is incredibly interesting and moving. This science fiction novel is a classic that should be read by everyone.
I have recently read the book divergent and I loved it. It was very captivating and interesting in the way that it feels realistic but is set in the future, in a time were people are divided into factions according to their profession. The main character in the novel, Tris, is my favourite character as she is strong, independent and brave, which is a different perspective to what girls are normally perceived as in novels.
This book was closely related to the movie although there are still many differences in characters and slight changes in the general plot. Overall, this is one of the best books I have read and if you love action filled dystopian novels I highly recommend Divergent and the series.👍
WOW claudia!!! sounds exciting, thanks for the suggestions 💝
At the moment I am reading 'Where she went' by Gayle Forman. This is the sequel to the book 'If I stay' and is set three years later. This is a young adults, romantic novel. This book was a surprise at first but as the story continues, you understand why the story is a good follow on. It is a first person perspective but instead of it being Mia's, it's Adam's perspective.
In the story Adam and Mia have cut all communication, having not spoken in three years and there is all these unanswered question between them. Mia is now a fast tracked Juilliard graduate and a up and coming Cellist, while Adam is a fully fledge rock star.
I have almost finished the story and would highly recommend it but only if you read 'If I stay' first.
I just finished reading "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas".
It is a novel set in World War II in Berlin. The story is based on the life of an 9 year old boy named Bruno. Bruno and his family move to Auschwitz when Hitler promotes his father to a commandant of the concentration camp. Bruno makes a new friend inside the concentration camp one day when he is exploring.
"The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" is an intriguing novel that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. The novel is suspenseful especially towards the end. It teaches the readers about the kind of life style those families lived through inside the concentration camps and for families that were involved in controlling the concentration camps.
I just read 'Zac and Mia' written by A.J. Betts. This was about a boy with cancer who meets a girl the same age also with cancer, who is a patient in the next room at the hospital. It then follows their stories from hospital beds to their lives at home. The narration of this novel changes between the two characters which made it easy to connect with as you get to see how both characters feel in each situation.
I really enjoyed the story line as it was very gripping and also had some plot twists that made me want to keep reading. It also gave me a very good insight into the lives of victims of cancer. I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting something that is easy to read but also very enjoyable.
I just finished reading the book "Beautiful Monster" by Kate McCaffrey. This is a very eye opening book about a girl who has an eating disorder. This book is set around the idea of how impacts through certain events can affect individuals. This book gave me an insight to how the mind of someone struggling with an eating disorder thinks.
I highly recommend this book if you are interested in gaining knowledge about mental illness' or you would just like to read a good book :)
A book I've recently finished is "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. It's about a boy named Jonas who lives in a world where there are almost no emotions and everyone looks and dresses the same. The world he lives in is devoid of colour which makes Jonas different as occasionally, he sees flashes of colour but is quick to dismiss it. After being assigned the job of a receiver of memory, Jonas realises the world her lives in is not the way it should be and makes it his plan to change it. I enjoyed this book as it had a stellar plot line throughout the entire book and managed to engage it's audience from the word go.
I would definitely recommend this book to a wide range of audiences as it has some romance and action. It is a dystopian novel and is set in a futuristic whereabouts and is a very enjoyable book.
I have read the book 'The Giver' it is about a young boy who lives in a emotion free and equal society, this is made possibly by everyone getting a daily injection to stop them from feeling emotions and realise what is really happening in the world. When it comes to graduation day, all children are given a job which they will then do for the rest of there lives and Jonas has been chosen to be the new 'Memory Keeper'. When he goes to this job he meets his mentor, he is called 'The Giver' and only Jonas, 'The receiver' can only see the memories and images which The Giver will pass on through his hands to Jonas. Soon enough Jonas realised what is happening in the society and starts to realise what the daily injections are doing to everyone. He then starts to skip his daily injections and is noticed to behaving differently, Jonas then starts to rebel against the society.
This is a great book to read and I would recommend it to anyone who wants an interesting read.
Excuse me for the next mistakes...
The last book I read was The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair
written by Joël Dicker. That is a crime book, published in the United States on May 27, 2014, by Penguin Books.
Marcus Goldman is a successful young novelist who needs inspiration for his next book. So, he requests Harry Quebert's help, his old friend and college teacher. But an unexpected event happens.
The body of fifteen-year-old Nola Kellergan is found 33 years after she went missing and Quebert is accused of her murder, Marcus works to uncover the truth. The result of his investigation becomes his next book.

Right now the book I am currenty reading is 'Charlotte's Web' by EB White. This book was published in October 15, 1952.
Charlotte's Web is a classic and is very enjoyable to read. In the story I am up to the part where Wilber (the pig) finds out that he is going to get slaughterd and is trying to find a way out of it. Charlotte is the spider and writes messages in her web trying to help and save him.
This is a really good book and even though it is an old one it is very nice to read.
I have just recently finished reading 'The Bell Jar'. 'The Bell Jar' is a semi-autobiographical novel written by Sylvia Plath. It is written from the point of view of a young college student named Esther Greenwood and starts with her being in New York to work as a guest editor on a magazine. The novel is about her experience with depression, her first suicide attempt and her stay in hospital.
It is called 'The Bell Jar' as she likens her depression to the feeling of being trapped beneath a bell jar, unable to breathe and feeling stifled and trapped.
I have never really had an absolute favourite book, but this was probably the most amazing novel I have ever read. The way it is written is absolutely beautiful and it works in a way that any good novel should, the reader feels absolutely transported from reality.
I would really recommend it if you like beautiful writing, though it is quite confronting, it is an amazing story.
I am currently reading "My Sister's Keeper" written by Jodi Picoult. A novel that has caught my attention recently and outlines the struggles of 13 year old girl, Anna, who sues her parents for medical emancipation when she is expected to donate a kidney to her dying sister, Kate, suffering from leukemia.
The story is very powerful and I am enjoying reading it!
A book that has recently caught my liking is ‘Confessions of a Sociopath’ by M E Thomas.
This book follows a series of chapters, outlining what it means to be a sociopath and allowing the reader to step into a sociopaths mindset. The book follows the life of M E Thomas and her family, facing the normal difficulties they would although, also facing the greater difficulty of having a sociopathic daughter.
Throughout the book, M E Thomas describes that she believes her sociopathy is not a bad thing, she believes that the way she sees the world is unique and allows her to face her problems without the overwhelming fear of hurting others. The book outlines traits and symptoms of sociopathy and allows the readers to understand the ways of a sociopath as well as a person who is a sociopath learning the ways of him or her self.
I have just finished the novel Slated by Teri Terry. It is about a 16-year-old girl named Kyla Davis who has been slated. Being slated means that the government wants young terrorists such as Kyla to start a new life. Each patient is attached with a levo after being slated, which is a device that monitors their moods and knocks them out if they become too violent, become upset or if they get too angry. Kyla is taken home by a family and has to learn the basic skills in life all over again. She goes to school and makes friends with a few of her classmates as well as some who are like her that had been slated. Not long into her new life, people disappear. people who don't deserve to go.
I highly recommend this book as it is thrilling and the plot was gripping
Recently I have been reading the classic novel The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The novel is about a spoilt, sickly little girl that goes to live with her uncle, who's she has never met, when her parents die. Mary has lived her whole life in India being spoilt by her nannies and the family’s servants and the novel is really about how she adapts and grows as a person once she moves.
The main character’s transformation is mainly through her discovery of a secret garden she finds on her Uncles estate and two boys she becomes friends with. With the help of these friends and the secret garden, the main character Mary, becomes a normal playful little girl.

I am currently reading a novel called "The One Dollar Horse" which is about a young girl, called Casey, who rescues a crazed horse from a nearby knackery. Casey is horse obsessed, and puts all her effort into saving the heavily ill horse. As the story advances, we follow the adventures of Casey and her new horse, and the hurdles they face along the way.
I am enjoying this book, and can't wait to finish it. I like it because it is fun, adventurous, different, and also because I myself have a horse, so i enjoy this type of story. I highly recommend this book, for anyone with a love for horses, or any animal, because it it truly a very enjoyable read, and very relatable and realistic.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
